The number of official millionaires in Ukraine has increased by 1200 people. This was announced by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, Danylo Hetmantsev.
As of May 1, Ukrainians have declared 172 thousand tax returns. They declared an annual income of UAH 218.5 billion. Thus, the number of millionaires has increased by 1200 people compared to 2022.
In total, there are 10.7 thousand millionaires in Ukraine.
“The submitted declarations declared an annual income of UAH 218.5 billion, and tax liabilities to be paid to the budget of personal income tax in the amount of UAH 4.8 billion, which is UAH 2.1 billion more than last year, and military duty - UAH 0.9 billion, which is UAH 0.4 billion more than in the same period last year,” Hetmantsev said.
