Russia is not included in the list of participants of the first Global Peace Summit, but should take part in further events - Swiss Foreign Ministry

The Russian Federation has not received an invitation to the upcoming Global Peace Summit, but it should participate in future meetings, the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reported.

According to the Foreign Ministry, more than 160 delegations from around the world have been invited to the summit. The main goal of the meeting will be to discuss the Ukrainian "peace formula" and other initiatives aimed at achieving peace processes. The summit is aimed at providing an incentive for future peace initiatives.

One of the main goals of the meeting is to create a platform for dialogue on how to achieve sustainable peace in Ukraine, to promote a common understanding of a possible structure to achieve this goal, and to define a roadmap for involvement of both sides in the peace process.
