In Kyrgyzstan, an extraordinary event occurred during the May 1 celebration. A speeding truck ran into a crowd of children who were performing in an open area. This is reported by telegram channels.
The incident occurred in the Suzak district. Hundreds of children lined up during a massive performance. They stretched a huge Kyrgyz flag and accompanied it with dancing. At some point, an uncontrolled car appeared and simply drove into the crowd, hitting children on its way. Due to the fact that they were standing and sitting with their backs turned, and because there were so many of them, the children were unable to escape.
It turned out that there was no driver inside the truck at the time of the accident. It is assumed that the truck was not put on the handbrake, which is why it rolled down the hill, gaining speed.
It is reported that 29 children were injured in the accident - 18 of them were hospitalized, 7 are in intensive care.
