Russia's plans to conduct nuclear exercises are another example of the Kremlin's irresponsible rhetoric. This was stated by Pentagon representative Pat Ryder, Le Monde reports.

According to him, after Moscow's announcement of upcoming exercises with the use of tactical nuclear weapons, the United States has not observed any changes in Russia's “strategic power position.”

“This is an example of irresponsible rhetoric that we have seen in Russia before,” Ryder added.

He also emphasized that it is “completely inappropriate given the current security situation.”
