The Russian army is creating a group of troops in the Kursk region, which borders Kharkiv region. The head of the Kharkiv RMA, Oleh Synegubov, said this during a telethon.

The head of the RMA was asked whether there is a threat of an offensive on Kharkiv amid rumors of a grouping of Russian troops in the Kursk region.

He answered that in the eastern direction in Kharkiv region, Russians have already resumed active assault operations. This happened after they replaced their units. In this direction, they allegedly have no success.

“As for the north: the enemy is creating a certain grouping of troops, and we will analyze further whether it is for a possible attack from the north or other territories. We are taking all measures to be ready and counteract the challenges that may arise,” added Synegubov.

The head of the RMA clarified that evacuation plans for Kharkiv have already been developed, and for a long time. They are updated almost every month.

Earlier, Synegubov said that Russia was forming a group for a possible attack on Kharkiv and stated that the Russians would not have enough forces to capture the city.
