Andrey Belousov, a candidate for the post of Russian Defense Minister, spoke at a plenary session of the Federation Council announcing the priorities for the new post. This was reported by the Russian news outlet RIA Novosti.
He emphasized the need to increase the efficiency of the implementation of state defense orders in order to fully provide the military with all the necessary means. This applies to both the provision of modern equipment and the supply of artillery ammunition, missiles, personal protection, special communications, drones and electronic warfare equipment.
Belousov also noted the need to develop new methods of warfare to prevent the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but did not mention mobilization measures.
