Today, May 15, emergency power outages for industrial and residential consumers will begin in all regions of Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.
According to the agency, the planned emergency shutdowns will last from 6:40 to 09:00. Electricity supply to critical infrastructure facilities will not be limited.
Ukrenergo explained that the reason for this was an increase in electricity shortages due to increased consumption due to the cold weather and Russian shelling.
In addition, today from 00:00 to 24:00, power limitation schedules will be in effect for industrial consumers.
