The situation in the Kharkiv region remains difficult, but the Armed Forces have managed to stabilize the situation, particularly in the city of Vovchansk. This was stated by the speaker of the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of troops Nazar Voloshyn during a telethon.

“Currently, the situation and operational situation in the Kharkiv region remains difficult and is changing dynamically. However, our defense forces and all the units involved have managed to stabilize the situation, particularly in the city of Vovchansk,” he said.

Voloshyn added that the Russians are still trying to break through the defense near Liptsi, Vovchansk and Starytsia.

“The invaders combine ground assaults with air strikes, of course. The occupiers use aircraft to launch rocket and bomb attacks on Kharkiv and other populated areas of the region,” he said.

The representative of Khortytsia added that in the Kharkiv direction, Russians carried out 83 attacks over the past day, and as of this morning, there have already been 5 combat engagements.

“I have to note that the number of combat engagements with the enemy has almost halved compared to the previous day. The enemy, of course, continues to try to focus its efforts on the direction of Strilecha, Liptsi and the capture of the city of Vovchansk with further advance to Bilyi Krynych and launch an offensive right in the rear of our troops,” he said.

Voloshyn added that the Russians have created and significantly reinforced an operational and tactical group of troops near the border.
