New norm: women doctors are obliged to register with the TCC for employment

The Cabinet of Ministers has banned women doctors from getting a job without being registered with the TCC. The provision that allowed them to do so until the end of 2026 was removed by Resolution No. 563

The deleted provision stipulated that women who received specialized education in medicine or pharmacy and who were not registered for military service in territorial recruitment and social support centers, i.e. did not receive a military registration document, could be employed in their specialty as non-conscripts until the end of 2026.

At the same time, employers will have to notify the TCC of their female employees who have a medical or pharmaceutical degree and are not registered for military service.

The decree states that unemployed women must come to the relevant TCC on their own to register for military service.

Women who have a specialty or profession related to the relevant military specialty defined in the list approved by the Ministry of Defense and are fit for military service for health reasons and age are registered for military service on a general basis at their own request.
