Chicken producers warned the prime minister about collapse and shortages due to gas prices

Domestic poultry producers have warned the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal of the possible shutdown of production processes at poultry farms, reports UNN.

This could happen because of the critical situation with gas prices, predicted the producers of the product.

"The price proposals from suppliers of natural gas in January 2022 put on the verge of stopping the production of poultry products and threaten the food security of the state," reads the appeal of poultry producers, published on the website of the Association of Ukrainian Poultry Producers.

Poultry producers called on officials to find a solution to prevent the shutdown of poultry farms.
