Russia sends even military school cadets to the war against Ukraine. Oleksiy Arestovich, advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said this at a briefing

"According to official reports, the Russians are throwing even cadets of military schools into combat. In particular, such information comes from the Serpukhov college, where second-year cadets were thrown into the war against Ukraine," Arestovich said.

He noted that this means a catastrophe from the point of view of military management, because cadets of military schools are usually not touched until the very last moment.

Russia's total combat losses due to the invasion of Ukraine in personnel are estimated at more than 5,840.
