Irina Venediktova stated that more than forty citizens of the Russian Federation will be prosecuted. These include major officials, deputies, as well as media people such as Tina Kandelaki, Oleg Gazmanov, and Nikita Mikhalkov. The attorney general said this during the telethon.

"We attract a lot of people. Now there are already more than 40 citizens of the Russian Federation. We have such a big case regarding aggression. There are not only ministers, various deputies, including their speaker and so on. But there are their "supporters," she said.

The Prosecutor General said that the process has already begun. And this information is becoming public. In particular, with regard to Tina Kandelaki, Nikita Mikhalkov, Oleg Gazmanov. They have been very active in making calls to enter Ukraine, to liberate it from various regimes.

"These people are going outside the Russian Federation, to their estates... "Warmongers and big propagandists. They should feel that they are just as criminals as those who started bombing our country," added the prosecutor general.

Venediktova stressed that it is very important now not only to declare suspicion, but also that these people be punished.

"We are studying the qualification of the crime. What hurts us now, and we say - traitors... It's a completely different story to prove that it really is treason according to the criminal procedure code," stressed Irina Venediktova.
