We would like to note that martial law, which was introduced on 24 February, will expire at 5:30 a.m. on 26 March 2022.

We shall remind you that on the night of February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a military operation in Ukraine. Russia immediately began shelling various sites throughout Ukraine, including Kiev, Odesa and Kharkiv. The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that it was not striking cities, but only destroying military installations, although their claims were untrue.

President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed martial law throughout the country as of the morning of February 24. The president also signed a decree on general mobilization.
