During martial law in Ukraine the activity of 11 parties is suspended. Such a decision of the National Security and Defense Council was announced by Volodymyr Zelensky during his night address.
"The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has decided. Given the full-scale war unleashed by the Russian Federation, and the links of some political structures with this state, suspends any activity of a number of political parties during martial law. Namely:
- Opposition Platform - "For Life",
- Shariya's Party,
- "Ours",
- "Opposition Bloc,
- "Left Opposition",
- "Union of Left Forces,
- "State",
- "Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine",
- "Socialist Party of Ukraine",
- "Socialists",
- "Vladimir Saldo Bloc."
Any activity of politicians aimed at splitting or collaboration will not succeed. But will receive a harsh response," said the President.
Volodymyr Zelensky added that the Ministry of Justice will immediately take measures to ban the activities of these political parties.
Also during the night statement Volodymyr Zelensky noted that also put into effect the decision of the Rada of national security and defense on the implementation of a unified information policy under martial law.
"To enact the decision of the Rada of national security and defense of Ukraine from March 18, 2022 "On the implementation of a unified information policy under martial law," - said in the message.
