Demining of the Kyiv region is fully completed - deputy head of the OP

The de-mining of the Kiev region has now been fully completed, the deputy head of the presidential office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, said during a briefing on Friday.

 

According to him, in addition, the electricity supply in the Kiev region has been 100% restored. The works lasted 45 days instead of the planned 60. More than 1 thousand specialists from different regions of Ukraine were engaged in restoration works, the power supply was restored to more than 260 thousand consumers.

 

The deputy head of the OP said that in the village Andreevka of Makarov community of Kyiv region has already begun the current repair of roofs in 50 private homes. Also there has been restored gas and electricity supply, partly there is communication and Internet. The area has been completely cleared of rubble, and equipment has been removed from the roads.

 

In Motyzhina, a lyceum, which had been operating for over 50 years, was damaged by an enemy shell. The institution is scheduled to be restored by September 1.

 

"The village of Moshun was badly damaged as a result of the fighting and is slowly coming to its senses after its end. Transport links to Kiev have already been restored - buses have resumed work. But the main thing is the restoration of housing. Currently, a roadmap for work on the master plan of the settlement has been defined, and documents are being prepared for its promulgation and public discussion," Timoshenko added.
