9,600 people were evacuated from the Donetsk region - the deputy head of the Tymoshenko OP

9,600 people have been evacuated from the territory of Donetsk region, 1,800 of them are children, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko said at a briefing on Friday.

 

 He specified that the largest number of refugees were evacuated to Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Khmelnytskiy, Vinnytsia, Ternopil and Kyiv regions.

 

 Speaking about the progress of restoration works, Tymoshenko noted that more than 600 objects have been fully restored in Zhytomyr Oblast. In particular, 44 high-rise buildings, 470 private houses, 21 schools, 10 kindergartens, 3 institutions of higher education, 13 administrative buildings, 10 health care institutions, 8 cultural institutions and 4 housing and communal services facilities.

 

 The deputy head of the VP also reported that in Sumy region, despite constant Russian shelling and ongoing bombing, more than 440 objects of critical infrastructure, residential development and administrative buildings have been restored.

 

 In the Chernigiv region, 272 high-rise buildings, 635 private houses, 30 gardens, 28 schools, 19 health care facilities, 6 housing and communal services facilities, one higher education institution and one administrative building were restored.
