Russian Foreign Ministry named a condition for negotiations with Ukraine

The Russian Federation is ready to return to peace talks with Ukraine. But as soon as official Kyiv "shows a constructive approach" .

This was reported by RIA Novosti.

"We will be ready to return as soon as Ukraine shows a constructive position and provides at least a reaction to the proposals transmitted to it," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said.

In addition, he commented on the words of Mikhail Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, who ruled out any peace treaty with the loss of territories.

"Moscow is guided by the official reaction of the Kiev authorities," Rudenko stressed.

Notably, the Ukrainian side recommends not to take into account the comments of the Russian Foreign Ministry and Minister Sergei Lavrov personally, as he is not involved in the negotiations.

We shall remind you that the day before, Podolyak said that peace talks with Russia can be resumed only when its troops withdraw from the Ukrainian territories.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also noted that there might not be a peace agreement with Russia and it depends on several factors at once.
