Ukraine's participation in the G20 summit will depend on the security situation and the composition of the summit participants. President Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a briefing with Indonesian President Joko Widodo in Kyiv, UP writes.
Zelensky said that the assistance of Indonesia, which now chairs the G20 and will host the summit in November, is very important to restore peace.
"I am grateful to you, Mr. President, for the invitation to personally participate in the summit. Of course, I accept this invitation. Ukraine's participation will depend on the security situation in Ukraine and the composition of the summit," Zelensky said.
Earlier it was reported that some countries may refuse to participate in the summit if Putin attends. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was also invited to the summit.
