Zelenskyy discussed with Erdogan the theft of Ukrainian grain by Russia, the situation around the ZNPP and defense cooperation

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy held a meeting with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is visiting Ukraine, they discussed defense cooperation, a nuclear chance from the Russian Federation and the issue of grain exports from Ukraine.

 

As reported on the website of the head of the Ukrainian state, the presidents assessed the implementation of the grain export initiative. Zelenskiy noted the leading role of Turkey and Erdogan personally in the fact that this initiative was started and is being implemented, it should be noted that it continues to overcome the global food crisis. The leaders discussed the possibility of improving the initiative, strengthening the security of its implementation, and increasing the volume of exports.

 

Zelenskiy and Erdogan also raised the issue of Russia's large-scale theft of grain in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In addition, it was discovered that the occupiers possessed almost 0.5 million tons of grain. The leaders agreed that any trade in stolen goods is unacceptable.

 

 "Russia's attempts to sell stolen goods must be stopped," Zelenskiy emphasized.

 

The leaders discussed the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant in Energodar of the Zaporizhzhya region and the nuclear chance of the Russian Federation, whose actions threaten a catastrophe in Ukraine and the whole world. Zelenskiy emphasized that Russian nuclear blackmail at the Zaporizhzhya NPP is one of the biggest risks that created the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine, and that this mission and duty of every country should be a tough and consistent reaction to any nuclear chance with the aim of stopping it.

 

"Russia should withdraw its military from the station now," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
