Ukraine will win the war with the Russian occupiers, after which the Russian Federation will begin to disintegrate into separate state entities, believes the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov.

 "I want us all to believe in the victory of Ukraine, I want you and I to believe that good will definitely win over evil, because we are on the light side of the force. And it definitely has an advantage over the darkness. We will defeat the orcs and the land of Mordor with you (Russia) will fall apart into separate state entities," Reznikov said on the air of the national telethon on Wednesday.

 According to him, even Ukrainians living today will be able to see the process of the disintegration of the Russian Federation. "We will remain cathedral, independent and united," he stressed.

 The head of the defense department also expressed confidence that the Independence Day of Ukraine this year is one of the most important in Ukrainian history.

 "The meaning of this day has changed a little for me today compared to last year. For the previous 30 years, this day was just one of the public holidays for me, which gave me a day off and the opportunity to go for a walk, go to Khreshchatyk to watch the parade and spend time with friends and family" And today I fully consciously understand that this is probably the most important day in the history of my country and my family, because for this Independence Day Ukraine is paying a large amount of human blood and lives of Ukrainians," said Reznikov.

 He noted that Ukrainians "shouldn't lose the chance to defend their independence." "We will definitely protect it. And I want all generations of Ukrainians to celebrate this day, understanding the price paid for it," he concluded.
