Biden: we will not conduct any negotiations - nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine

US President Joe Biden applauds the courage and determination of the Ukrainian people and the Armed Forces that liberated Kherson, and states that the US will not be involved in any peace talks in Ukraine without Ukraine.

Thus, as part of his participation in the G20 summit in Bali on Monday, he answered the question of journalists whether the withdrawal of the Russians from Kherson is a turning point in the war, against the background of which Ukraine could start negotiations with the Russian Federation, or whether Ukraine should continue to fight until the liberation of Crimea, and whether the US will continue to support Kyiv in achieving this goal.

"First of all, this is an important, important victory for Ukraine. An important victory. And I can only applaud the courage, determination and abilities of the Ukrainian people, the Ukrainian military. They are simply impressive! I think it is difficult to say now what exactly this means in the plan. But I will be very clear: we will continue to provide opportunities for Ukraine, the Ukrainian people to defend themselves. And we do not intend to participate in any negotiations. Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine. This is a decision that Ukraine must make," the US president said.

At the same time, Biden suggested that in the near future "we will see things slow down through the winter months in terms of the ability to easily move around the country."

"I think we still need to see what the result will be, except that I am sure: Russia is not occupying Ukraine, as they originally planned," he is convinced.
