Zelenska will deliver a message from the President of Ukraine to the leader of China

The First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska will deliver a message to the Chinese leader Xi Jinping from President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. In it, the head of state wrote his proposals for ending the war with Russia.

This is reported by Sky News.

Zelenska reported that she plans to hand over the letter from the Ukrainian leader to Chinese Vice Premier Liu He for transmission to Xi.

She added that she also had letters for the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the president of Switzerland, Helen Berse.

"Today I will hand over formal letters" from the President of Ukraine to colleagues participating in this part of the forum. Unity is what turns the world around. "How does the world expect to achieve climate neutrality if it can't even stop the burning of entire Ukrainian cities," Zelenska said, adding that the war has global consequences that could worsen in the event of Ukraine's defeat.

At the same time, she warned that the war could go further and ignite larger crises if Ukraine loses.

It should be noted that after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, China officially took a neutral position and called for an end to hostilities and the beginning of a peaceful dialogue.

China has not officially joined the Western sanctions against Russia, but Chinese companies, fearing to fall under secondary sanctions, have limited or stopped the supply of many sanctioned goods.

At the same time, China privately supports sanctions against Russia, refuses to help it and provide technology.

It will be recalled that the World Economic Forum started in Davos on January 16, and this year it is being held without the participation of the Russian delegation.
