Zelenskyі congratulated Ukrainian women on International Women's Day

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi recorded a video message in which he congratulated Ukrainian women on International Women's Day and thanked for the defense of Ukraine on various platforms.

"Today is International Women's Day - the day of struggle for women's rights. Every year on this day, I thank my mother, I call her. Thank you for always respecting her in our family. I thank my wife for the fact that we love together and that we have such beautiful children. I thank the women who work with me. And it is very important that we are equal as colleagues. Today you can say different words, pay attention to different aspects of this day. Everyone has their own opinion on what to do on this day - March 8, and this is our strength. There is freedom in that. We are free, equal, we are in a strong Ukraine. I think it is important today to thank all the women who work, teach, study, save, treat, and fight for Ukraine. To remember and thank all the women who gave their lives for our country. To thank mothers, to remember that while mother is alive, you can feel like a child. Thank loved ones for their respect and strength. Together we will definitely win. Glory to Ukraine!" said the President.

Voting for March 8, which became the most massive, ended in "Diya". The majority voted to leave March 8 as a holiday.
