Germany is delaying the supply of weapons to Ukraine from the promised package of 2.4 billion euros

The publication Welt reports on the delay in the supply of weapons to Ukraine from the package announced by German Foreign Minister Olaf Scholz back in the spring. In May, a large tranche of military equipment was promised, but so far Ukraine has received almost nothing.

According to promises, the tranche was supposed to include 110 Leopard 1 tanks, but in fact only 10 were delivered. Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns were promised in the amount of 18, but Ukraine received only 12.

Four of the promised IRIS-T anti-missile systems have not yet been delivered, and none of the 20 Marder armored vehicles have been shipped. Artillery ammunition was delivered in the amount of only 850 pieces instead of the promised 26,350 pieces.

The only promises that were fulfilled 100% were the supply of 11,000 food rations, three unmanned sensors and five metal bridges for the Biber tank-bridgelayer.
