During the active military operations on the eastern borders of Ukraine, the Russian armed forces carry out attacks in an attempt to regain lost positions in several areas of the front. This was announced by the Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine, Hanna Malyar, during a broadcast telethon.

The situation is particularly tense in the Staromayorske area and north of Bakhmut, where fierce battles are taking place. The Russian armed forces are actively attacking, seeking to control territories and regain lost positions. The offensive actions of the Ukrainian armed forces on the southern flank are also complicated by the actions of the enemy.

The situation in the Maryinka and Avdiivka directions remains stable, despite the constant attempts of Russian troops to surround Avdiivka. The enemy does not dare to engage in direct assaults and street battles with Ukrainian defenders.

The deputy minister of defense noted that the Ukrainian armed forces successfully liberated Staromayorske, but the Russian enemy is pushing forward and has stepped up attacks in the area in recent weeks.
