Defense lines to protect against Russians are being built almost continuously. This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havryliuk.
According to him, the weather has been favorable for the construction of fortifications for several weeks now, new forces and capabilities have been attracted, and the government has allocated money.
He noted that given the favorable weather and security situation, defense construction works are virtually uninterrupted.
"The biggest problem with the construction of defense lines is enemy drones. They often impede the involvement of necessary construction equipment, threaten the lives of our soldiers, military engineers, civilian brigades and slow down the pace of work," Havryliuk said.
The official emphasized that the defense line is a complex of works on the construction of trenches, connecting routes and arrangement of dugouts, concrete shelters, firing positions, shelters for equipment, engineering barriers and special concrete structures.
