The Verkhovna Rada has approved the resignation of Oleksiy Reznikov from the position of Minister of Defense.

The decision was supported by 327 deputies, reports People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

The vote on the appointment of Rustem Umerov as the new Defense Minister is scheduled for tomorrow.
