Cabinet dismissed deputy defense ministers (UPDATED)

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has dismissed the deputy ministers of defense. Hanna Malyar is among those dismissed. This was reported by the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, on Telegram.


In particular, the following deputy ministers of defense were dismissed: Volodymyr Havrylov; Rostyslav Zamlynskyi; Hanna Malyar; Denys Sharapov.


In addition, the following were dismissed: Andriy Shevchenko from the post of Deputy Minister of Defense for European Integration; Vitaliy Deynega from the post of Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization; Kostyantyn Vashchenko from the post of State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.


As a reminder, on September 5, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Oleksiy Reznikov from the post of Minister of Defense.

All the deputy defense ministers have writtenapplications to resign of their own volition after the request of Minister Umerov and do not plan to return to their positions, Ukrayinska Pravda reports, citing government sources. Discussions and selection of candidates are currently underway.
