Today, on September 22, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Canada for an unannounced visit. The meeting with him was confirmed by the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau. This was reported on the official website of the Canadian government.


It is noted that during the visit, the leaders plan to discuss military, economic and humanitarian support from Canada. They also intend to sign an agreement to further strengthen economic ties between the two countries.


"We plan to work together to put greater economic pressure on the Putin regime until it shows respect for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, including strategically important sectors such as oil and gas," the Canadian government said in an official statement.


After his speech to the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa, the Ukrainian president will travel to Toronto to meet with Canadian business leaders to attract private sector investment for Ukraine's future.
