Russia loses control over Ukrainian maritime exports: a new turn of events

Ukraine is increasing its control over Ukrainian maritime exports, and this trend will only intensify in the coming weeks. This was reported by James O'Brien, head of the Office of Sanctions Coordination at the US State Department.

"Ukraine already has several vessels that have left ports and remain in territorial waters. In addition, Russian attacks on Ukrainian vessels lead to higher rates for insurers and increased costs for Moscow," the official emphasized.

As it became known, the second ship with grain has already left the Ukrainian port and successfully arrived in Turkey. Three more vessels are heading to Ukrainian ports to load export products. This indicates that Russia is gradually losing control over Ukrainian exports. Ukraine is now able to unblock its ports for various types of products, not just grain, as it was before.
