British Defense Minister Grant Shapps has said that the UK will not send its warships to the Black Sea to ensure the export of Ukrainian grain, according to The Guardian journalist Dan Sabba.
Sabba quoted the minister on the social network X (Twitter): "Grant Shapps, in a clarification, told the Conservative conference that he does not expect any Royal Navy ships to be deployed to the Black Sea to open up Ukrainian grain exports."
Earlier, the head of the UK Defense Ministry suggested that the British Navy could help Kyiv ensure the export of grain from Ukraine by sea.
