The Polish defense concern Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa plans to modernize and repair PT-91 and T-72 tanks that were previously transferred to Ukraine. This was reported by PAP.
After the official visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Poland in April, a technological center for the repair of T-64 tanks was established in Gliwice, together with the Ukrainian company Ukroboronprom.
The Gliwice plant is also expected to eventually service and modernize PT-91 and T-72 tanks transferred to Ukraine.
The plant also plans to support the Leopard 2A4 tanks that Western countries are transporting to Ukraine.
