Ukrainian truck drivers stuck on the border with Poland are to be evacuated. Ukraine collects data from those who are willing. Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Serhiy Derkach announced this on Facebook.
Derkach emphasized that the drivers who are forced to stand at the border do not have appropriate conditions, including food and ambulance services, firefighters, and sanitary facilities.
In this regard, Ukraine has decided to evacuate truck drivers who express a desire to do so. To do this, you need to fill out a form, which can be done by both drivers and carriers.
"For our part, we have started collecting data for the evacuation of our drivers. We have already run out of time to agree on compromises. Now our drivers are suffering from the actions of a few people who blocked the border with the consent of the local authorities in sub-zero temperatures," added Derkach.
