Today, President Volodymyr Zelensky will address US senators via video to ask them to approve financial assistance to Ukraine. This was reported by The Washington Post.


They will also be persuaded by the US Secretary of Defense, Secretary of State and other senior officials.


This will take place at a closed briefing for congressmen organized by the White House.


The briefing itself will take place a day before the Senate votes on a $106 billion foreign aid package - $61 billion of which is intended for Ukraine.
