The USA has transferred to Ukraine the production technology of FrankenSAM "hybrid" air defense systems. This is stated in a message on the White House website.

This system makes it possible to combine modern surface-to-air missiles with Soviet-era launchers and radars that the Armed Forces already have. One version of the system combines Buk launchers and Sea Sparrow missiles, while the other combines Soviet radars and Sidewinder missiles.

"The parallel production of these systems in Ukraine and the United States will accelerate their deployment and allow Ukraine to make a significant contribution to the support of its air defense systems," the White House said.
