Danilov: Russia sets simple conditions for negotiations - Ukraine's surrender

The Russian Federation is not ready for real negotiations on ending the war on the territory of Ukraine. The only option that would satisfy the Kremlin at this point is Ukraine's surrender. Secretary of the Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov told the Voice of America.

"Putin (Russian dictator Vladimir Putin - ed.) is not ready for any negotiations. Putin or his entourage are making these statements to reduce support for our country. They launch these fakes that they are allegedly ready for negotiations," Danilov said.

He noted that Ukraine's position is unchanged, namely, the 10 points of President Volodymyr Zelensky's "peace formula."

"The negotiations offered by the Russian Federation are quite simple - it is our surrender. We cannot afford to capitulate to a country that started destroying us on February 24. And we will continue to go to victory," he emphasized.
