Due to the lack of military aid from the United States, Ukraine is in a situation of uncertainty and cannot know what will happen in two weeks. This was stated by Olha Stefanishyna, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, in an interview during the Munich Security Conference.
"We are now captives of the American discourse around financial aid in Congress. In fact, we have found ourselves in a changed reality - the reality of uncertainty. Previously, our partners stood side by side with military support. And now, in this regard, we do not know what will happen even in two weeks. This is an important component of destabilization. We hope it will stop soon," Stefanishyna said.
In a comment to Ukrinform, Stefanishyna also noted that clarifying the issue of receiving aid from the United States is the most important thing at the moment. She emphasized that during the Munich conference, Europeans worked with Americans on this issue, which was a "strengthening" that should help to make the necessary decision in the US Congress, which Ukraine is very much hoping for.
