Britain and France warn of the cost of not supporting Ukraine - Telegraph

British Foreign Minister David Cameron and French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné warned of the cost of refusing to support Ukraine before their visit to Washington to urge US House Speaker Mike Johnson to find a way for Congress to approve a $60 billion military aid package. This was reported by the Telegraph.

The ministers emphasized that Russia's ongoing aggressive war against Ukraine seriously affects the security of Europe and the Euro-Atlantic community.

They argue that Ukraine must win this war, as the country's defeat would mean the defeat of all.

The ministers also noted that Great Britain and France are proud of the support they have provided to Ukraine, including sanctions and the supply of missile systems. They reaffirmed their support at the European Political Community summit and looked forward to a productive NATO summit in Washington this summer.
