The first F-16s will arrive in Ukraine after Easter. This was stated by Illia Yevlash, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, during a telethon.

The host asked Yevlash if there are any benchmarks for when the F-16s will start operating on Ukrainian territory.

“Yes, there is - after Easter,” the spokesman replied with a smile.

According to him, the date of arrival of the fighters in Ukraine has been changed several times. Therefore, it is difficult to name the exact date.

“Our task is to work with what will be provided to us, we are not directly responsible for the deliveries, this is a matter for the top military and political leadership. When the first fighter jets arrive in Ukraine, we will definitely talk about it,” Yevlash said.

It should be noted that at the end of March, Kuleba said that the planes would arrive in mid-summer.
