Russian fighters, after heavy fighting and significant losses, halted near Konotop. They are demanding food and fuel from the local population, the Army of Ukraine informs, reports UNN.

"They have a problem with fuel and supplies. Tankers are walking around with canisters and trying to buy gasoline. Soldiers of the occupation troops demand food from the local population. Cases of looting of trade establishments by the Russian occupiers have been recorded," the report says.

There are about 40 burned Russian vehicles in the vicinity of the town.
