The mayor of Konotop Artem Semenikhin signed an order banning the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate on the territory of the community. This was reported by the mayor on Facebook.
Semenikhin decided to ban the activities of the UOC MP because of the "threat to the national security of Ukraine". The mayor believes that his decision will contribute to the consolidation of the community and stop the propaganda of the Russian Federation in the city.
"There is no difference between an enemy and his agent. And in the case of the mosparhat it is two in one. Therefore, I decided to ban the activities of this agent network of the FSB on the territory of my city," he wrote.
