The head of the Defense Ministry, Oleksiy Reznikov, warned Ukrainians about possible communication outages and fake messages about the alleged surrender of the Ukrainian government.
"According to available information, the Russian occupiers are preparing to launch a large-scale information and psychological operation in the near future. Its goal is to break the resistance of the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian army with the help of lies," he wrote.
According to him, initially it is planned to arrange a breakdown of communication. After that, fake messages will be thrown in that the Ukrainian military and political leadership allegedly agreed to surrender.
"To "confirm" this fake will be distributed seemingly signed "documents," as well as mounted fake videos. This is a lie. They won't wait! There will be no surrender! Only victory! Warn everyone you can," the message reads.
