Russian occupants looted and destroyed a state-of-the-art laboratory worth 6 million euros in Chernobyl

The occupants looted and destroyed the newest central analytical laboratory in the city of Chernobyl worth 6 million euros. This was reported by the press service of the State Specialized Enterprise Chernobyl NPP.

 

The laboratory is a unique complex with powerful analytical capabilities and can provide services at any stage of radioactive waste management, from conditioning to disposal, as well as at the stage of research and technology development.

 

"The laboratory housed highly radioactive samples and samples of radionuclides, which are now in the hands of the enemy, than hopefully he will harm himself and not the civilized world," the state enterprise said.

 

The Central analytical laboratory in Chernobyl was modernized within the frames of cooperation of European and Ukrainian specialists in the sphere of nuclear safety - it is almost 100 units of modern expensive analytical equipment which has no analogues in Europe.

 

The laboratory performed strategic, unique functions.
