Poland has delivered more than 200 T-72 tanks to Ukraine, enough to form two brigades. Along with the tanks, several dozen infantry fighting vehicles were delivered to Ukraine, Polish Radio reported.

"Referring to the message of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki regarding military aid to the Ukrainian side, it has already exceeded 7 billion zlotys (1.5 billion euros)," Polish Deputy Defense Minister Wojciech Skurkiewicz stressed.

Among the weapons delivered to Ukraine are self-propelled howitzers 2C1 "Gvozdika" and multiple rocket launchers "Grad". Poland also transferred air-to-air missiles for MiG-29 and Su-27 aircraft, drones manufactured by WB Electronics, Perun MANPADS and a large quantity of ammunition.

Poland has almost 400 T-72 tanks. Part of them, according to the decision of the leadership of the defense department, was modernized in 2019. Poland transfers to the Ukrainian army, first of all, the tanks that have not been modernized.
