NATO warehouses for thousands of weapons will be built in Poland - Morawiecki

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that the construction of warehouses with NATO weapons will continue in the country.

He said this before leaving for the USA, PAP reports.

"Together with our American partners, we will create logistics bases and weapons bases. Several thousand units of NATO military equipment will be stored in Powidz and other places in Poland. Thanks to this, we will be much safer," the Polish Prime Minister said.

According to him, these warehouses will store tanks, BMPs and other equipment that will allow "quick activation of NATO's eastern flank."

"This possibility alone will deter our enemies," Morawiecki emphasized.

On April 5, a new logistics and technical complex for long-term storage and repair of equipment was opened in the Polish city of Powidz. Its warehouses will store several thousand units of military equipment and equipment, including tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery, etc.
