The French Foreign Ministry said that Ukraine's application for membership of the European Union will be discussed at the level of heads of state and government in the European Council in June 2022. This was reported by the ministry's press service.

The French Foreign Ministry noted that Ukraine's application is currently being considered by the European Commission. The ministry also stressed that the French government and the president are convinced that "Ukraine is part of the European family.
