Russia must immediately stop "filtration" operations in Ukraine - Blinken

U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called on Russia to immediately halt the practice of filtration operations against Ukrainian citizens in the occupied territories, noting that it has already affected 1.6 million civilians.

"Russia must immediately end its systematic 'filtering' operations in Ukraine, which have reportedly resulted in the disappearance, detention or forcible deportation from their homes of up to 1.6 million innocent Ukrainians, including 260,000 children," Blinken tweeted Wednesday.
