A new map of the war in Ukraine as of August 26 has been published. The Russian occupiers continue their offensive in a number of directions in Donbas, but without success.

 The enemy in the Slavic direction conducted combat operations with the aim of holding the occupied lines and preventing the advance of the Ukrainian defenders.

 Meanwhile, in Donbas, the Russian army does not stop trying to conduct assault and offensive actions. The occupiers continue to focus their efforts on the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions.

 Also in Soledar, Bakhmut and Kodema, the enemy waged an offensive battle, but to no avail.

 In the South Buz direction, Russian troops are concentrating their main forces on preventing the advance of our fighters and are taking measures to replenish losses.

 Meanwhile, hostilities continue in the Kharkiv region on the contact line. The enemy is shelling our positions and nearby settlements with barrel and rocket artillery, tanks, and using UAVs, but our defenders are holding their positions.

 We will remind, according to British intelligence, the offensive of Russian troops in Ukraine stopped due to their own unsuccessful actions and the fierce resistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the statements of Russian officials in this regard do not correspond to reality.
