Memory of heroes: 140 bodies of fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine

The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War announced on Telegram that 140 fallen defenders had been successfully repatriated to Ukraine.

 

 

According to the headquarters, among them are 112 soldiers who took part in hostilities in the Donetsk direction, 20 in the Luhansk direction, 5 from the Sumy direction, 2 from the Zaporizhzhya direction and 1 from the Kherson direction.

 

The Armed Forces will transport the bodies and remains to the relevant state institutions, where law enforcement agencies and forensic experts will identify the victims.

 

After identification, the bodies will be handed over to the families for a decent burial.
