Xi Jinping met with Medvedev: he announced cooperation with the Russian Federation and mentioned Ukraine

Chinese leader Xi Jinping held a meeting with the deputy of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. During which side discussed the Russian war against Ukraine.

This is reported by The Print.

"China hopes that all parties to the "Ukrainian crisis" will maintain restraint and resolve the security issue through diplomatic channels," Xi Jinping told Medvedev.

According to the publication, the Chinese leader also expressed hope that the "Communist Party of China" and "United Russia" will supposedly "be able to promote communication to deepen strategic cooperation between China and the Russian Federation."

Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports that regarding the war in Ukraine, Xi Jinping expressed hope that both "sides of the Ukrainian crisis will show restraint" and will also be able to "start negotiations."

It will be recalled that earlier the Chinese leader Xi Jinping assured that his country will not transfer weapons to Russia. He also called the Russians' nuclear threats unacceptable.

We should add that the Wall Street Journal published an article in which it is claimed that Chinese companies are selling goods to Russia necessary for the continuation of the war against Ukraine.
